Principal & Human Systems Strategist
Navneet Magon Anand
Navneet Magon Anand is a design philosopher, researcher, and human systems strategist advancing the disciplines of Human Layer™ Design and Human Capacity Architecture™.
As the founder of Design Veritas, she works with leaders and institutions to design the conditions for clarity, coherence, and human flourishing as complexity increases.
Her work bridges neuroaesthetics, spatial intelligence, and systems thinking—shaping how environments and systems influence how people think, feel, and perform.
Designing for the Human Journey
Navneet’s work is guided by a singular question:
How do we design the conditions for human flourishing?
Her career began in architecture and sustainability, grounded in the belief that the spaces we inhabit shape the human experience.
As systems became more complex and environments more demanding, she recognized a critical shift:
the challenge was no longer just designing buildings—but designing the conditions that support the human within them.
From Architecture to Human Systems
This became her inflection point.
Navneet expanded her work beyond the physical environment to the Human Layer™—the lived conditions that shape how people think, decide, and relate.
Drawing on her foundation at McGill University and an MBA in Sustainability, she developed an approach that treats environment as a regulating system—one that can either deplete or restore human capacity.
Her work today focuses on aligning these conditions so that clarity, coherence, and performance can be sustained within increasingly complex systems.
A Different Lens
Underlying Navneet’s work is a deeper inquiry into the nature of experience itself.
She studies the environments that create awe, resonance, and clarity—and translates those insights into the design of real-world systems.
This perspective informs her approach to Art · Nature · Beauty (ANB™), which she positions not as aesthetic additions, but as functional conditions that shape attention, state, and human capacity.
Research & Practice
Navneet’s work is informed by a multidisciplinary approach integrating architecture, neuroscience, and complexity theory.
Her focus is on how environmental and systemic conditions influence cognition and performance at a foundational level—designing for cause, not just outcome.
