I design the human conditions that shape how we think, feel, and become in an accelerated world.
Navneet Magon Anand
Design Philosopher & Human Experience Strategist, Researcher, Author, Artist

Creator of Human Layer™ Design, ExOS™, Alignment Architecture™ & Inner Architecture™
Trained in architecture at McGill University, I now teach human-centered design as Adjunct Faculty at WPI and serve on the board of AIA Central Massachusetts, shaping future-focused design initiatives.
Why I Built Design Veritas
Everywhere I looked—studios, boardrooms, hospitals, campuses, communities, wellness spaces—I saw the same pattern:
People weren’t failing because of who they were.
They were struggling because of the conditions they were in.Environments that overstimulate instead of support.
Cultures that reward exhaustion instead of clarity.
Rhythms that compress time instead of creating space to think.
Beautiful spaces that feel good on day one, then quietly drain energy. At the same time, I kept seeing the opposite:
Moments of coherence—where light, sound, pace, beauty, and behavior lined up—
and people suddenly became more present, more creative, more themselves.Design Veritas was created to work there:
at the level of conditions—the human architecture behind performance, wellbeing, and becoming. What I Design
I design the human experience of a place, organization, or brand:
how culture feels and behaves
how space supports or sabotages people
how rhythm and time flow through the day
how beauty, art, and nature shift state and memory
how all of this aligns with a deeper vision of who you are becoming
In an age of acceleration and AI, my work is simple:
Guard the human.
Upgrade the system.
So people can think clearly, feel grounded, and do their best work—without losing themselves.
The Frameworks Behind the Work
Over two decades, I’ve translated this philosophy into a set of practical, repeatable frameworks:
Alignment Architecture™ (E·E·E + CSS™+ CDM)
Before we redesign conditions, we align your ethos and intent.
Ethos – what you stand for
Environments – where people spend their time
Experiences – what they actually live through
Using the Conscious Sustainability Standard (CSS™)
—Sustainability · Human-Centeredness · Connectivity—
we ensure your vision is relevant, regenerative, and future-fit, not just inspirational.
Using the Conscious Design Model (CDM)
—Sustainability · Human-Centeredness · Connectivity—
we ensure your spaces are sustainable, healthy and meaningful.
ExOS™ — Experience Operating System
ExOS is the strategy for the human experience.
It aligns the seen and unseen layers that shape how people feel and perform every day:
Vision & Meaning – where you’re going & why it matters
Behavior & Culture – how leaders and teams show up
Space & Sensory Architecture – light, sound, art, nature, thresholds
Rhythm & Flow of Time – meetings, deep work, transitions, recovery
Aesthetic & Natural Signals (Art · Nature · Beauty) – the beauty layer that regulates the nervous system and unlocks clarity, awe, and creative intelligence
ExOS designs the conditions for coherence
—so people flourish and organizations move with clarity, resilience, and quiet excellence.
Inner Architecture™ for Leaders
The external system only holds if the inner system can.
Inner Architecture™ focuses on:
presence under pressure
nervous system regulation
decision clarity and identity
communication tone and emotional impact
energetic boundaries and sustainable leadership
inner work:self awareness, growth and mindset
It’s not about fixing leaders—it’s about designing how they inhabit themselves
so their presence matches the future they’re trying to build.
QED™ — Quantum Experience Design
QED looks at experiences as fields, not just moments.
It draws from architecture, neuroscience, behavioral and environmental psychology, and quantum thinking to ask:
What state does this experience invite?
What does it make possible—for insight, healing, creativity, or courage?
How do we design for presence → flourishing → becoming, not just impact in the moment?
ANB™ — Art · Nature · Beauty as Strategic Levers
Art, nature, and beauty are not background.
They are active levers for:
regulating the nervous system
restoring attention
creating belonging and emotional memory
opening people to reflection, meaning, and innovation
I use ANB™ to build vignettes of coherence into everyday environments:
small pockets where people can reset, reconnect, and remember who they are.
The Craft Behind the Frameworks
My work sits at the intersection of:
Architecture & Spatial Design – trained in architecture, I think in volumes, thresholds, light, and flow.
Neuroscience & Environmental / Behavioral Psychology – how space, sound, pattern, and rhythm shape state and behavior.
Organizational Strategy & Culture – how systems, structures, and leadership decisions show up in daily life.
Somatic & Nervous System Awareness – how bodies register safety, stress, and coherence long before the mind does.
Art, Nature, and Aesthetic Intelligence – how beauty and biophilia become infrastructure for healing, performance, and imagination.
Design Veritas exists where these disciplines overlap.
What Makes My Work Different
Most firms design spaces, brands, or strategies.
I design the human conditions behind all three.
I don’t treat wellbeing as an amenity. It becomes operating logic.
I don’t treat culture as slogans. It becomes behavior, ritual, and tone.
I don’t treat beauty as decoration. It becomes a performance and healing tool.
I don’t separate human flourishing from business performance. I design them as one system.
Presence is the state.
Flourishing is the outcome.
Becoming is the trajectory.
ExOS and Alignment Architecture are how we get there—reliably.
Who I Work With
I collaborate with leaders and teams who care about the human experience and the outcomes:
Enterprise & Tech – founders, CEOs, and CHROs navigating AI, hybrid work, and cultural fatigue
Wellness & Luxury Hospitality – retreats, resorts, sanctuaries, and wellness brands seeking depth, emotional resonance, and renewal
Healthcare & Arts in Medicine – hospitals, clinics, and programs designing for emotional regulation, dignity, and hope
Campuses & Cultural / Civic Spaces – universities, cultural centers, and cities building environments for focus, belonging, and reflection
Mission-Driven Brands & Developers – those who want what they build to feel as good as it looks on the outside
If you care about the quality of human experience as much as you care about growth, innovation, and outcomes, we are likely aligned.
Where to Begin
Most partners start in one of three ways:
Alignment Blueprint™ – to see the human conditions behind your current challenges
A Pathway – to redesign the rhythm and experience of a team, site, or initiative
Leadership & Inner Architecture – to ground the leaders who hold the system
If you’d like to explore where to begin—
whether you’re leading an organization, a campus, a destination, or a place of care—
the Alignment Blueprint is often the cleanest first step.
